Riptide motors are built saltwater tough, with premium-grade marine alloys, including aluminum
upper arms that are impervious to rust. Metals undergo a rigid multi-step cleaning process before
being anodized or coated with a zinc dichromate armor plating. All components are then finished with
a durable powdercoat paint for excellent protection against corrosion. Variable speed models feature
Maximizer technology that provides up to five times longer run time on a single charge. Latch and
Door model (10353621) features non-binding nylon inserts and anti-seize lubricant for a lifetime of
trouble-free use. Motor removes quickly and easily for safe storage. Bowguard 360 model (10353654)
breaks away on impact from any angle, protecting your motor, shaft and boat. Easily detaches for
added convenience with quick-release bracket (sold separately). Available in a wide variety of thrust,
mount and shaft lengths including Model 12066577—a West Marine exclusive—that features a
shallow draft that is specifically-designed for tenders and inflatable boats.
