Halotron I Fire Extinguisher Systems
Portable, hand-held extinguishers are ideal for fires in the marine environment. Clean, EPA-approved Halotron I is a liquefied gas that dissipates after use. It is an acceptable alternative to the banned Halon 1211 and is more effective and user-friendly than either water or carbon dioxide extinguishers. USCG-approved when properly mounted with approved brackets (sold separately). Smallest extinguisher (Model 1219419) effectively suppresses Class B (liquids, gas and solvents) and Class C (electrical equipment) fires. The medium (Model 1219443) and large (Model 1219468) extinguishers are effective against A (trash, wood, paper) fires, as well as Classes B and C.
