Comments about Sperry Top Sider Women's Ventus Performance Shoes:
I wear these shoes daily. After spending 6 or 7 hours out fishing, my back and my legs feel great. These shoes have great traction and they dry quickly. They are comfortable enough to run around on the docks and the boat yard all day as well.

Comments about Sperry Top Sider Women's Ventus Performance Shoes:
I had a hard time finding a women's high performance sailing shoe before coming across this one - I've worn them racing and cruising and found them to be great for both, definitely recommend you check them out - looks good too.

Comments about Sperry Top Sider Women's Ventus Performance Shoes:
I mostly sail on larger boats (30'-50'), and these shoes are great for traction above and below decks. Feel very secure going forward underway in these. They felt slightly stiffer than expected, but the added stability is probably worth it. I wish they came with bungee laces for easier on-off. Love the looks of the shoe.

Comments about Sperry Top Sider Women's Ventus Performance Shoes:
This is a big improvement over the old Sperry Topside boating shoes that I wore forever. The Ventus is nicely engineered, you can see how it will dry relatively quickly, offers better support, protection, and will be more comfortable. Protection will be important because I am getting less and less tolerant of the bruises on bare feet when I trip over cletes or other fittings. It looks like a sneaker but it is not too loud. After wearing leather for so many years this seems a little "plastic-y" and stiff but that probably just makes it better for quick drying. I normally wear a 7.5 but this 7.5 seemed to big so I put in for an exchange for a 7.
