Description

FPM 050 Fuel Polishing Module

Condensed water in a diesel fuel system can lead to fuel degradation and costly maintenance problems. The FPM-50 installs in-line between your existing fuel filter and the engine. To prevent the accumulation of water and contaminants, the FPM-50 circulates fuel at a low-flow rate which enables the filter to separate out difficult-to-remove emulsified water that can only be removed at low flow rates. Low-flow polishing with the FPM-50 removes moisture that high flow polishing systems can leave behind. In addition to preventing contaminant build-up, the need for expensive fuel treatments and additives is reduced. With the FPM-50, you can polish your fuel non-stop, even during periods of engine down time and winter storage. The system is easy to install and operate and it incorporates an automatic, full-flow bypass valve which eliminates the need for manual switching. With a draw of just 150mA, battery drain is minimized. In fact, the FPM-50 can be run off a small solar panel.
