AquaLink 406 GPS Personal Locator Beacon
Smaller and lighter than previous ACR models, this buoyant PLB uses a built-in, super-bright LED strobe light that increases visibility. AquaLink™ broadcasts a unique registered distress signal that not only tells rescuers where you are, but who you are. With a built-in GPS, it can fix your position to within 100 meters and then utilize a powerful 406 MHz signal to relay your distress call to orbiting satellites. Unique to the AquaLink is full functional self-testing ability which gives users peace of mind, knowing that this PLB will work the moment you need it the most. Typical performance is up to 35 hours with a radiated power of 5W. Includes non-hazardous battery packs.
