Vetus uses a single six blade synthetic propeller to increase thrust while minimizing cavitation and inefficiency. Our uniquely designed and heralded six blade propeller will supply equal thrust in both directions. We use a streamlined tail piece with spur or helical gears to minimize transmission noise and improve efficiency. With these innovations we are the quietest thruster on the market.

Vetus thrusters come complete with everything except the tunnel. The thrusters have a joystick control with a built in safety on circuitry and also a time lapse device to minimize possible thruster damage when reversing directions. The joystick also has a warning LED and buzzer that sounds and will auto shutdown if it is continuously run for more than 2 minutes. While we recommend a primary shutdown switch, the entire system can be turned on and off from the joy stick or from an optional wireless remote control. The joystick has the added safety of automatically shutting itself off after 30 minutes of inactivity.
