Comments about Trilux 33 & Trilux Prop & Drive Antifouling Paint:

applied to prop and running gear, we where applying new bottow paint to the bottom at the same time. when we pulled the boat 9 months later.. the bottow was very clean the prop had 1 inch of barnacles on it. almost didn't make it to the lift to have it pulled.

Comments about Interlux Trilux 33 & Trilux Prop & Drive Antifouling Paint:

Used this product on a 9.9hp outboard that could not be lifted out of the water due to the configuration of the sailboat motor well. By eight weeks after launch in Narragansett Bay, RI, there were so many barnacles on the lower unit that the water intake ports were clogged and the prop exhaust vents were plugged. No apparent antifouling at all. Could not even use the outboard to get back to the marina under power. It took hours of work to clean up the lower unit. Product assessment: Fail.

      Ineffective at Stopping Barnacles

Comments about Interlux Trilux 33 & Trilux Prop & Drive Antifouling Paint:

Have tried Primocon and Trilux 33 for a few years on my outdrive. It applies great, dries fast, and leaves an excellent finish. However, it doesn't appear to be effective at preventing bottom growth. I boat in Chesapeake Bay region and continually experience heavy barnacle build up that must be scraped about every month during the boating season. Going to try something different this year.
