My '72 Glastron V176 has a rub rail all the way around the boat. Where the rub rail ends at the aft, the rubber had evidently shrunk over the years leaving an 8" gap. A new complete rubber is very expensive.
West Marine was the ONLY place that sells the rubber by the foot. It just so happens that the rubber West Marine sells by the foot is the exact rubber on my Glastron.
The patch looks great and the price was right.
