      Comments about Seafit Connecting Links:

This connector rusted before we had a chance to install it which gave us no faith in its corrosion resistance in salt water.

      Pros

      • Easy To Use
      • Holds Boat Securely
      • Lo-tech connection
      • Stronger than the chain
      • Windlass compliant

      Cons

      • Lots of hammering needed

      Best Uses

      • Added 30' of chain w it

      Comments about Seafit Connecting Links:

lo-tech connecting link that is stronger than BBB or hi-test chain. there are 2 nipples on either side of the link-halves; you hammer and flatten the nipples to make the two halves become one chain link. Took 45 minutes of hard pounding, but if I had had an anvil to pound on it would've been much easier. the finished link chained my new additional chain and the whole thing went right down the windlass and hawser pipe no problem
