Description

Mooring Whips

Positions your boat a safe distance from the dock

Mooring whips are a safe and economical way to protect your boat from costly dockside and seawall damage. Protect your boat and dock while mooring and in areas where severe weather, high wakes, winds and tides are common. These whips, crafted from heavy-duty, solid fiberglass keep your boat away from the dock by applying continuously variable pressure while spring lines keep the boat from moving too far out of position. Low friction tip. Sold in pairs.

    Comments about Taylor Mooring Whips:

The PMW1400 mooring whips are very well made and work well. Unfortunately, they do not come with "roller" tips as advertised. They come with fixed fairleads that create more friction making adustment more difficult. [...] The whips are still highly recommended but would be better with a redesigned roller.

    Comments about Taylor Mooring Whips:

Good product - 3 minor issues - 1) did not include nuts for lag bolts, 2) included wrong size nuts for cleats, 3) did not include breast lines as advertised, but not a big deal for use on a lake. Called West Marine and response was - not their problem, call the manufacturer. First time I have ever had an issue with West Marine product.
