Permanent Below Deck Fuel Tanks
Moeller permanent tanks are favored by quality boat builders. Cross-linked rotationally molded polyethylene fuel tanks are UV stabilized and impervious to corrosion and ethanol-enhanced fuel. They meet all ABYC, NMMA and U.S. Coast Guard regulations. TheyÂ’re equipped with an electrical fuel sending unit for use with a dash-mounted gauge. Measurements do not include fittings. Add 2 1/2" to height for fill neck. Allow for hydrocarbon swelling that adds about 3% to measurements in all directions.
Quality features:
- Fittings with highest O.D. and I.D. specifications, so they have the highest level of input flow available during refueling.
- Machined aluminum 3/8" withdrawal fitting swivels 360° for ease of installation
- Ideal for gasoline or diesel (order return kit Model 8843559)
- Includes machined aluminum fill spouts and vent fittings molded into the tank shell

Comments about Moeller Permanent Below Deck Fuel Tanks:
Good tank. This is my second purchase of one. I rebuilt an old aluminum semi-vee into a mini center console about two years ago. My new tank is for a brand new fiberglass skiff I bought. The tank does what it is supposed to do, it holds gas and dispenses it to the engine. The only problem I had with the first one was that the tank sending unit showed the tank 3/4's full when the tank was totally full. So the gauge is not accurate with the tank. That is why 4 instead of 5 stars.
