Comments about Tie Down Engineering Anchor Kits:
The kit has everything you need, right down to the shackles. The "Super Hooker" (13#) package actually came with 150 ft. of nylon rode vs. 100 ft. in the product description.
Comments about Tie Down Engineering Anchor Kits:
This anchor held my Mac 22 sailboat in the most violent storm I had ever been in. With reefed main and no jib, still too much wind to sail. We were being blown toward tree-lined shore, no beach. I had no choice but to drop anchor. I thought it would drag, the rope would break or the cleat would pull off the boat. But it all did what it was supposed to do. It saved our lives.
Comments about Tie Down Engineering Anchor Kits:
This anchor package performed well here in the northeast. It held in all but the strongest currents. I would recommend it for up to a 23 foot boat.
