Hi Tensile Anchors
For excellent holding power on sand and mud bottoms
Extremely tough, durable anchor built from high tensile steel for excellent holding power in sand and mud bottoms. The shank is drop-forged for added strength and rests on special reinforcing yokes inside angled crown plates to assure a 32° shank angle. T-shaped flukes are constructed of Junior I-beam steel for greater strength and stability and beveled for faster, deeper penetration of bottom substrate. Hot-dip galvanized for long-lasting corrosion resistance.

Comments about Danforth Hi Tensile Anchors:
This superior light wieght anchor is well worth the money. Most of my fishing is in 30 feet of water or less. I pull anchor up to 15 times a day while fishing and wanted a light anchor less chain that holds in any wind, which it does. My boat wieghs in at 2800 lbs. When fishing a pass in terriffic currents, I add a 6 foot chain, to set it quickly. I recently lost my secondary anchor and purchased another high tensil to partner with the one I've had for over 20 years.
