Yes you have to cut them to fit your Outdrive,but it's not rocket science!!!! It beats worrying about your outdrive rams bleeding off and taking off your Skeg!I just purchase small wire tires in bulk to hold them secure and not risk them popping off....

A great product to provide protection for the outdrive while trailering, it works good for my boat! On my particular outdrive I had to trim the length of them to fit, which was not mentioned in the catalog or on the package. However, they cut quite easily with my power miter saw and now they are custom fitted to my boat.
