Automatic sensor fails to shut off and drains battery. Only way to shut pump down is to disconnect battery. Pump is only one year old.

This pump, apparently like other rule pumps of this type, is extremely unreliable. It routinely sticks on and drains the battery. Don't waste your money and risk your boat on this pump.
