TipUp Glueless Davit System
- Available in three different size systems to accommodate your swim platform height above the water
- Each Tip-Up kit include: two Platform Snap-Latches, one each of bow and transom Lifting Arms and fasteners, two rolling lock Bow Sockets and one Transom Socket

St. Croix really "missed the boat" with this design. There is not enough hardware/parts in the kit to finish the project. I had to use a strong epoxy under the mounting plates to ensure that they wont come off with the weight of my RIB, which is 110lbs.Doesnt come with standoff bars, or backing plates for the swim platform mounts. The RIB floor mounting brackets are not angled at the bow to account for the bow floor angle, and the stern mounting bar didnt fit right into the stern mount, I had to grind it down. Its very hard to pull up my RIB with this system. I am going to have to add a winch. The higher the mounts/swim platform, the harder it will be to pull up your RIB.

Not for the faint hearted! Yes, top notch stainless steel. Well engineered but.... If I'd known I had to drill holes through the floor of my dinghy I wouldn't have bought it. Also, the bolts bend easily and the lock nuts contain a plastic that melts very quickly causing the nut to fuse early on. This caused lots of frustration trying to tighten the nuts onto the bolts SLOWLY so as not to build up friction.
I like the concept of this product but don't believe I will use it to the full potential as I am not prepared to fit the fasteners through the hull of my dinghy.
