We have an open bow 19 foot bayliner with a cover that is difficult to keep rain water from pooling and then dripping into the boat. Using these straps has added plenty of slope to the cover to keep water draining off the cover and thus not dripping into the boat. The boat is in the water in Southern California, which means it doesn't rain much, but it also means that we can use the boat throughout the year and want it dry inside when we want to take it out.
