Now 33% larger than the original AnchorShade®!
Long known for manufacturing quality marine products, Taylor Made Products has re-invented the highly successful AnchorShade. Several important design changes have been introduced, including larger diameter and solid fiberglass structural ribs, and hinge connectors which are twice as strong as on our last model. Also added to these improvements is a powder-coated aluminum frame (so even if scratched, it will not rust), a 4-point locking height adjuster and a Sur-Lock push-up mechanism. These new innovations are sure to keep your AnchorShade® II looking and working well for years to come!
This uniquely designed 7ft. x 7ft. square umbrella can be used on almost any vessel from a small fishing boat to the larger high-performance boats. AnchorShade® II is designed to be used when anchored or at idle speed on a calm day. AnchorShade® II is perfect for relaxing on the water, at dockside, or just lounging on the beach.

Comments about Taylor 6' x 6' Anchorshade II:
I enjoyed this umbrella once. Every time thereafter it would give and part of it would start collapsing. The arm brackets are not holding the arms up and they are sliding down...Very frustrating, especially when you need the shade.

Comments about Taylor 6' x 6' Anchorshade II:
This product is easy to use at anchor, not on a windy day. It stows well in a convenient bag and is quick to set up and put away. Provides good shade. It comes with 4 straps with clips to clip to the four corners of the umbrella. It really needs four more larger clips for attaching straps to the boat. I had to purchase these myself and was unaware of this need until I tried to set it up. I would recommend this product.

Comments about Taylor 6' x 6' Anchorshade II:
My family has had the original AnchorShade for 17 years, and it only just broke this season due to user error. This product is of AMAZING quality, and the AnchorShade II shows no signs of being anything less than superior to the original product line. We have a 36 foot Carver Mariner and it is extremely useful on it, as it was on our previous 27 foot boat. It can block the sun all day, and we love it. My father is in his 70s and can install it on his own, and my brother was able to install it when he was only 8 years old.
I can't recommend this product enough. ANY product that lasts 17 years on a boat is something of a miracle.
Pros
- Easy To Install
- Water Resistant
Cons
- Lacks Hardware Strength
Best Uses
- Precision P21
Comments about Taylor 6' x 6' Anchorshade II:
The Ancorshade more than meets the need for shad over the cockpit of my P21. The 6' x 6' size gives enough "over shading" to make it effective on hot sunny days. One man can set it up but it is easier with two. The center pole length is more than adequate and easy to adjust. "Cheap" plastic hardware "D" rings have already broken with the second use. The umbrella deserve better hardware.
