CPP Plus Antifouling Paint
Growth-free protection with minimal paint build-up!
CPP Plus is an affordable self-polishing ablative paint. This "self-polishing" paint releases new biocide as the boat moves through the water and combines excellent protection with minimal paint build-up. Can be used in fresh or salt water.
Not for sale in States where prohibited by law.
West Marine CPP Plus was rated a "Top Performer" and "Recommended" in Ablative/Copolymer Antifouling paint tests by Practical Sailor magazine (March 2006).

For S. Chesapeake Bay and sailboat use I have found the CPP Plus to be just as effective (if not more) as other paints at twice the price.

Comments about West Marine CPP Plus Antifouling Paint:
I have used other antifouling paint before, but this paint was so easy to apply. I have a 29 foot boat and After i cleaned my boat, I had the boat painted within 1 hour. This paint was so easy to apply, I used a roller. It stated on can for best results to apply 2 coats, but after applying first coat it did not need second coat, I could not believe how great it looked. I will not use any other antifouling paint except CCP plus.
Great stuff.

Comments about West Marine CPP Plus Antifouling Paint:
I used this on my Grady White last season and when I pulled it out in November to sell it, It didn't even need powerwashing. I did run the boat alot if that matters. I was so happy I bought it again for my new Grady White. JUST REMEMBER, Shake or stir very thorughly. I bring it to the local Aboffs and they shake it for me.

Comments about West Marine CPP Plus Antifouling Paint:
I have been using this product on my new boat for 6 years and it is the best bang for your buck in regards to your boating needs. It applies easy, looks great and protects for the season. I have tired the more expensive products proior, and have not found them to be more effective in anyway.

Comments about West Marine CPP Plus Antifouling Paint:
I have used this paint for the past 4 seasons and the results are great. I power wash the boat when I pull it out in November and the bottom is usually pretty clean, no excessive growth like I used to see with regular non-alblative bottom paints. It wears away during the season and keeps the bottom free, saving gas and increasing performance. I'd recommended it to everyone.

Comments about West Marine CPP Plus Antifouling Paint:
We're in the No. Chesapeake. Hauled annually w/powerwash. Bottom comes clean as a whistle. I use a black signal coat then 1 coat blue. I no longer paint the whole bottom, just the places where the signal coat shows. Don't even sand the unpainted part. Works for me.
