Wrap It Up Shrink Wrap Accessories
During long periods of storage, your uncovered boat is susceptible to damage
from a number of sources–rain, snow, blowing dirt and debris, bird droppings, UV
radiation and nesting birds and rodents. While a conventional cover or tarp
offers your boat some protection from the elements, only a shrink-wrap cover
gives it protection thatÂ’s 100% waterproof, impossible to blow off and that can
withstand heavy loads of snow or rain.
”Wrap-It-Up“ is a do-it-yourself shrink-wrap system that provides your
boat with the protection it deserves during the long off-season. Developed
exclusively for West Marine, the system consists of three kits that provide
everything needed to shrink-wrap your boat yourself:
Hardware Kit: Includes all the tools you need to wrap your boat: a
propane heat tool with 25' hose and regulator, training video, safety gloves and
glasses, shrink-wrap cutting knife and complete instructions. Buy it once and
reuse it year after year.
Installation Kit: One roll of 3/4" x 300' woven strapping, one roll of 2"
x 30' shrink-wrap tape, four self-adhesive air vents, ten 3/4" strap-tightening
buckles and one prepaid "REBAG" recycling kit. Buy a new kit every year.
Shrink-Wrap Kit: One roll of shrink wrap, sized for your boat. Purchase a
new kit every year.
