Comments about West Marine Starboard Poly Sheets Building Material:
I use Starboard for both my boat and my house on the water any time that I need to have waterproof no-rot applications such as hatches, moulding and small projects. It is as easy as wood to cut and shape and works great with Stainless Steel screws and hardware which is a necessity when living on or by the water.

Comments about West Marine Starboard Poly Sheets Building Material:
This material is easily cut and shaped with basic wood working tools ( band saw, router, and hole saw). I didn't like the open rod holders in the console of my new Carolina Skiff 21DLX so I ordered the marine board and made a couple utility pocket/cup holders to replace the rod holders. I am very pleased with the material.

Comments about West Marine Starboard Poly Sheets Building Material:
Seems to be somewhat heavier than a similarly strong piece of plywood would be. Easily workable with regular wood tools. Requires no painting, so faster to use than plywood. But, be careful if you want to use it in a visible place. It scratches easily, and there seem to be no easy way to refinish.
