Hypalon RIB 310 & 350
With an advanced fiberglass hull shape, these boats are quick to plane and they handle with ease. The V-section slices through chop or swell for a dry, comfortable ride. The 310 has a sturdy single floor, while the 350 model has an ultra-strong double floor.
Roomy interiors afford plenty of cargo space and lightweight construction tops the performance of larger, heavier RIBs. A good choice for tropical climates, long service life is assured by UV-resistant Hypalon fabric and solid fiberglass transoms that won’t rot like wood. Built-in davit padeyes come factory installed—a feature that normally costs extra. Boats include seat, pressure gauge, oars and repair kit.

Comments about West Marine Hypalon RIB 310 & 350:
The WEST MARINE Hypalon RIB 310 planes easily, is lighter and has better price than other Hypalon RIB 310s,
BUT the tank support in the back brings most weight (incl. engine) to the back of the RIB [I had to glass in a support under the middle seat]
The self bailer leaks and the plug is difficult to put in [under way].
I would consider alternative RIB 310 with forward tank support and possibly wider [more stable in side ways seas].

- Performs well
- Stable/seaworthy
Cons
- Looped handles no good

Comments about West Marine Hypalon RIB 310 & 350:
RIB5 (Zodiac) glue failed at hypalon/fiberglass interface after 4.5 years. After a call, West Marine Hq. stepped up and replaced it with latest/closest model. Paid change extra and upgraded to HPV 350 because of the 25 hp engine we had. Current model only took a 15 hp. engine.
Took it out for a test run in 1-2 ft. chop: dryer, steadier, better, and safer ride. Much better boat if glue doesn't fail.
Thank you West Marine!!

Comments about West Marine Hypalon RIB 310 & 350:
Needed stable roomy tender for grandkids, so replaced old Fastroller with 350. Two issues: Seating on starboard tube is too high for comfort when operating outboard. Self bailer allows leakage when plug is out.
Still in all, best tender we have had.

these are great boats ! the 310 is lighter by 60 lbs smaller tubes and narrower beam which every body knows means rougher and less stable . ive owned both , the 310 w/15hp honda works ,but if you have the room for bigger , the 350 w/20hp is awesome! stable ,less scary at wot . both are hard to keep clean, and barnicles, and catfish fins puncture easily

Comments about West Marine Hypalon RIB 310 & 350:
I use this great little boat for fishing and side scanning for Lake Erie sunken ships. Because I live less than 3/4 hr. from Lake Erie, Lake St.Clair and the Detroit river, the boat is kept in my garage on a trailer, ready for a quick get-away. It is an easily launched boat by one person (71 year old). With a 25 H.P. 2-stroke, it is a fun boat to manoeuvre and gas useage is minimal. It is quite comfortable and roomy with one or two fishermen and fishing gear. I am often off shore on Lake Erie in rough water when I can see no other boats (I, and any one else in my boat always wear inflatable PFD's and I have all the safety equipment). In a high wind, there is some spray but it is expected because of the low freeboard. I have owned much larger boats but I have never as much fun and peace of mind as with this boat. With two large men, fuel and gear, you can cruise at 20 to 22 M.P.H. on less than 1 1/2 foot waves. By myself, and flat water, I have reached 29 M.P.H. (feels like a water go-cart).
