        Comments about Jabsco Macerator Pump:

This same pump came on my boat from the factory. I have a 2005 Sea Fox, it failed in 2009 after basically 4 years of service. I purchased a new one in May of 2009, bought an extened warranty also. Thats a total of 2 years warranty and the pump failed at 2 years 2 months? I think it should have lasted much longer for the money! I only used it for approx. 15 minutes of total run time!

          Comments about Jabsco Macerator Pump:

I have had this pump on my 41 ft sailboat for over 15 years with no trouble at all. Now it just quit
but I believe something not intended was flushed and jammed the impellar and shorted out the motor.
I am very carefull about what goes through this pump but something must have slipped

Hope the new pump works as hard and long. Will post a comment when it is installed

Seals leak - in about 2 years. Replacement seals last 3 months usage (Wish I knew of a better option - or are they all alike?

I had this pump aboard my Cape Dory 30' Poweryacht and it failed. So did the replacement.
I have one on my ALbin 28TE that I bought last year. Pump looks new but failed by the end of the season.
