The previous generation of these seats lasted me a few summers of frequent use, and I was fairly pleased. We did a warranty replacement when they eventually fell apart and the new seats have not lasted a season. The seat bottoms are no longer well reinforced are are all cracking. Every stitch is falling apart. They have clearly begun to cut corners in manufacturing and I would steer clear!

[...] That was a great benefit because it is a large item. We gave the seat as a Christmas present to my husband and he was so delighted by it. He wanted to set it up in the living room and sit on it. It will be a few months before summer returns to New England and we will be able to use it on the boat. Can't wait. The bench looks great and has easy access to storage and best of all it is comfortable to sit on.
