Comments about #105 Epoxy Resin:
I live in Texas and have had issues with resin setting up before it is applied. I used the slow hardner and had plenty of time to work with product. My replacement boat floor came out great and I can say that the Westmarine products made it possible. It has a high cost but its worth it!!

Comments about West System #105 Epoxy Resin:
This is the base resin from which most of the West System epoxy products are created and custom blended by the user. Combined with the appropriate West System hardeners and additives it can be used for bonding, coating, fairing, and reinforcing cloth applications to wood and other materials. I use this product extensively in my wooden boat shop for both repairs and new construction tasks. I strongly recommend using an appropriate respirator and gloves with this item, as this is one of many products everyone should limit unprotected exposure to.

Comments about West System #105 Epoxy Resin:
I have used the West System and most of the fillers and additives throughout the years and have never been disappointed. I inadvertently left a used 9" roller standing upright on a cinder block overnight. The next day I picked up the block by the roller. When I tried to dislodge the roller, the block broke, but not the bond between block and roller.

Comments about West System #105 Epoxy Resin:
I've used this product many times over the past ten years for many different applications with no problems. If used for outdoor applications, it should be protected from UV (as any epoxy) with varnish, clearcoat, etc. If coated with varnish, make sure you let the epoxy cure sufficiently or the varnish won't cure.
