Protect your boat's electrical system while docked
These isolators protect your boat from damage due to galvanic corrosion and extend anode life by interrupting galvanic current flow between your boat and others when your boat is plugged into shore power at the dock. They solve the most common cause of in-the-water corrosion and at the same time maintain the AC ground.
The monitored ProSafe 1 Single AC Line System is UL-tested and listed and complies with ABYC A-28 requirements, which require that the isolator be automatically self-tested and monitored to ensure that it is providing galvanic protection, and that the AC ground (green wire) is connected to your boat from the shore power cable. The ProSafe 1 Single AC Line System is for use on boats with a single 30A shore power cord. It includes the ProSafe 30A Galvanic Isolator, the Monitoring Module and a remote LED display with a push-to-test feature for detection of reverse polarity, ground fault, or isolator failure.
In the event of a fault condition, the ProSafe 1 System is designed to visually and audibly annunciate the problem. The ProSafe 30A Single and ProSafe 60/30A Dual Galvanic Isolators may be purchased alone. They provide the same level of protection as the ProSafe 1 System, but do not have self-monitoring capability or a remote display. Choose a system that is right for your boat. Selection depends on whether you have single 30-amp, dual 30-amp or 50-amp shore power.
