        Comments about Sail Systems Ssi Big Cooler - 200 Quart, 48"l X 22 3/4"w 19 1/2"h:

I have used a variety of coolers over the past forty years of Charter fishing on the Gulf and Atlantic coasts. This SSI has been the most rough handed Mate and Customer proof cooler I have used. Pretty bite proof as well from angry wahoo and beat proof from Cobia and bull dolphin. Holds ice extremely well. Very tough lid and the hinge/ latch system.

The locks and snaps for the cushion corrode. Also the lanyard for the drain broke over time. I think my grandkids will inherit the actual cooler.

I have had a 200qt model for 5 yrs. No warping or cracking inside or out. It was loaded with 200 lbs of ice at the rear of the 8' bed of my super duty PU. I was cut off at 20 mph. The cooler slid foreward hard sustaining no damage, the PU bed did bend a little(always properley secure your load). I was replacing name brand coolers every 2 to 3 yrs from sun, heat damage cracking and warping or just wearing out.
This cooler could out last me!
