    Comments about Battery Tiedown Strap:

The holders attached to deck failed the 1st time I tightened the straps. So I made my own holders to thread the straps through. Straps work ok & I can get them very tight.

            Comments about Battery Tiedown Strap:

These straps are completely useless. The buckles do not hold, the straps deteriorate rapidly, the hold down clips crack, and the screws are too small. Considering the weight and inertia of a lead-acid battery in a moving boat, these straps are also dangerous with the real hazards of spilled acid, short circuits, and fire. A piece of dacron line through stainless eye-bolts is infinitely better and safer.

                  Comments about Battery Tiedown Strap:

i have used this type of strap for many years on my center console batteries and i always accepted the fact that they need contact replacing. i bought a pair of loadlock straps last year and they still work like they did when new.
