Pros

Cons

Comments about Seastar Mercury 3300 Cable End:

This adapter set is absolutely necessary to connect universal control cables to the outboard motor (Mercury 9.9 specifically). They work well, but I could have used instructions on how to place them in the motor itself. Be aware that to connect the universal (3300) cables to a Mercury controller you will need additional adapters (Seastar part no. 301074).

Comments about Seastar Mercury 3300 Cable End:

The ends are formed plastic, cheap stuff and apparently, not formed to high tolerance. The clips are supposed to slide through holes to secure onto control cable. Clearance was not sufficient to insert.

Not many other choices unless you want to purchase cables with the ends already on.
