Comments about SeaWatch 3020 Marine TV Antenna with Tilt Mount:

We have installed 2 of these on the mast of a 46 catamaran and both have ended up falling off! The method of the antenna locking onto the mounting base is not well designed or has some flaw.

Comments about SeaWatch 3020 Marine TV Antenna with Tilt Mount:

Even though it had a couple of negative reviews through this site, I took a chance and bought one. Knowing that I could return it if it did not work, I used none of the wires or crimp connectors supplied. My test set up worked, I got five channels at the dock. Realizing I had only done a auto scan and not a auto/add scan, I ran the scan again and got 13 channels. This unit works well for my application. All the required parts are provided and there was no issues with assembly. Maybe the other folks that tried it and left negative reviews did not use the power unit. This is required to make it work. I'm happy!

Comments about SeaWatch 3020 Marine TV Antenna with Tilt Mount:

Mount is poorly designed (week). Antenna lost while trailering boat. I called Shakespeare twice, left messages (couldn't speak to a real person). They did NOT return my calls!

Weak Signal, Now will have to buy the 2025-PC to add to it. Buy the 2025 to start and save you some trouble and money

Comments about SeaWatch 3020 Marine TV Antenna with Tilt Mount:

There is a serious design flaw. I even talked to the company about it. There is only one nylon hexagonal nut that secures the base to the top antenna. Mine is mounted on on the radar arch. As the boat is underway (not a major vibration) the nylon nut falls off and the result is the antenna falls down. They need to re-design the connection to something stronger.
