Comments about Teva Womens Refugio Shoes:

I bought and used these shoes for my trip to the jungle in Costa Rica. The shoes were durable, comfortable, and gave enough support for hiking through the rocky river and in the jungle and to use as sneakers in general. The only downside to using these shoes to hike in/along the river was that small sediment and rocks kept on getting in to the shoes and I'd have to remove the shoe to get rid of them. The shoe laces also had a tendency to get undone. Overall a good, stylish shoe.

Comments about Teva Womens Refugio Shoes:

I bought these for a kayaking trip in Maine. I needed a lightweight water shoe with an enclosed toe. It was all those things. It is not a shoe for a lot of walking. It does not have that kind of support. I am very happy with them.

Comments about Teva Womens Refugio Shoes:

I ordered these shoes online, without trying them on-always a bit of a risk, but i am a long time Teva fan and thought they looked similiar to the Churn Evo, my favorite Teva shoe.
They are really comfortable, and lightweight. The color is fun and hides dirt.
I am happy with this purchase.

Comments about Teva Womens Refugio Shoes:

I bought these shoes to wear to work. I work outside about 1/2 on a boat and 1/2 on an island with many different habitats and I wanted minimalist shoes that could transition from water to land to beach and be comfortable all day. They are great for the water. The spider rubber on the bottom is awesome. I never worry about slipping while moving around the boat and dock. However the mesh and drainage channels make it so that sand can pour in and then never comes back out which is highly uncomfortable. They have become my kayaking shoes instead of my everything shoes and they are great for that. They hug my feet, dry quickly, are great with a muddier bottom, and the almost non-existent arch support makes them better for an activity with more sitting. I wanted minimal arch support so I am not complaining, but since ordering these I have decided I need at least a little support for my all day shoes.
