Standard Fluke Anchors
Every angle on a Danforth anchor contributes to its performance. A 32° shank angle is assured, as the shank comes to rest on reinforcing yokes inside the angled crown plates. The inward sloping crown forces its thin, sharp flukes into the bottom, while I-beam fluke construction provides extra safety with its strength and durability. Excellent holding in sand or sand/mud bottoms, but limited or no holding in grassy, rocky, or clay bottoms. Stows flat. Steel anchors featuring hot-dipped galvanized finish.
