      Comments about Aluminum Paddles:

I purchased two of these paddles for use with my canoe. The paddle's bouyant design is a plus, and it seems like a solid paddle overall. The paddle's only possible downfall is the T-grip, which is attached through a narrow neck at the top of the shaft by a single rivet. The T-grips have not failed me yet, but I have used paddles with seemingly sturdier components. I am pleased with the paddle overall, but if any part of it were to fail-- I would expect it to be this component.
