Comments about West Marine Boat Kill Switch Keys with Lanyard:

The kill switch lanyard for our Tohatsu 9.8HP outboard was showing its age, so we decided to buy a new one before the old one broke. It has keys to fit most any engine or PWC. The clip and keys are all plastic so it will float if dropped overboard. Having all the keys on one lanyard is both good and bad. It is good because it can be used with any engine. It is bad because you may have keys that you never use getting in the way of those that you do. It's probably handy to have the full set in anchorages where someone needs a special key.
The clip is big enough to work with most straps on PFDs or thread it around a strap and clip back onto itself. It stretches to allow some movement, yet not so far that it won't shutoff quickly if you were to fall overboard.

Comments about West Marine Boat Kill Switch Keys with Lanyard:

there are too many kill switch attachments on the lanyard making it cubersome. If there was a way to remove the ones that you dont need this would be ideal/ I used a hammer to smash off all the ones that I didnt need.
