Comments about West Marine Cayman 11.5 Sit-On-Top Angler Kayak, Blue/Green:
I use this in saltwater for exercise, hooping for lobster and fishing. I'm a big guy at 6'6" and 280 lbs and it is very stable and comfortable but heavy, I have had tandem kayaks that are lighter, tracking is OK. I have added flush Scotty rod holders and extra bungies to hold 2 hoop nets on the for deck. I changed out the "bow deck plate" hatch from a screw in to a toggle type (the screw in type bind). Also the "mid-ship hatch" does not come with a pouch to hold items. I had to order one online and it is a tight fit. If you add paddle holders be careful they are not to close to where your knuckles swing by the side of the boat. Overall I'm very happy with this yak.
