Product Description

This universal-fit cover is designed to fit a Fish and Ski which is from 16'0" to 19'0" with a beam of 96". It features a 2-year limited warranty.

This cover is gray (GY) and constructed using Taylor Made's WeatherPro Plus brand fabric. This fabric is a 3.2 oz. marine-grade, pigment-coated polyester with good breathability. It has very good water-, mildew- and UV-resistance. It has very good strength and would function well in hot or humid climates. The quality of this fabric is on par with Taylor Made's Boat Guard brand semi-custom covers.

Taylor boat covers come in three levels of customization: Universal, Semi-Custom and Custom. This universal-fit cover is designed to be fully trailerable. We have taken our popular WeatherPro boat covers and upgraded them with more durable and longer-lasting fabric. With four-ply folded seams and double-folded hems there is no tearing at the edges and a shock cord in the hem creates a snug fit. Each cover comes with a convenient storage bag and tiedowns. Please note that these covers generally aren't made to fit aftermarket swim platforms. Also, please note that this cover doesn't specify if it comes with a motor hood or not.

Instructions would help on the straps - here is what I did.

Comments about West Marine Fish and Ski Cover, Gray, WeatherPro Plus, 160-190, 96 Beam:

Here is what I did out of desperation on the straps when a storm was coming. I folded about 3" of the strap around the center of the buckle. I used a lighter to heat untill it starts to slightly melt and then squeeze together with pliers. This attached one end of the strap to the buckle and after cutting the strap to the desired length, lightly melting the cut area, it would loop around the strap in the buckle and it tighten and hold well.

Comments about West Marine Fish and Ski Cover, Gray, WeatherPro Plus, 160-190, 96 Beam:

The cover comes with straps but gives no idea how to use them. I don't think I am stupid but I could not make the straps work, ended up using the straps from my old cover. There is an elastic cord running around the bottom of the cover, but again no instructions about where or how to tie them off. Cover is nicely made and seems very strong, just needs some instructions on how to correctly fit it to your boat.
