Comments about West Marine Lake Tahoe 8 X 32 Waterproof Binoculars:

Nice field of view. Easy to focus. Compact and light weight with attached lens covers. Good value. If you are aiming towards the sun, and the sun is low in the sky, you will get lens flare on bottom of your view, the same thing happens with camera lenses, but in all other situations the the image is sharp and clear.

Comments about West Marine Lake Tahoe 8 X 32 Waterproof Binoculars:

These are useless on a boat, or in any other context. The light reflections coming through the eye piece end causes reflections on the lower third of the lenses. Very difficult to get the two images to superimpose and to keep the black edges from occluding the field of view. Spend your money on the least costly Steiner, and you will not be disappointed.
