Comments about West Marine SOFGRIP Kayak Wall Cradle Set:

This is a great cradle for even a large kayak...nice for small and large width boats. Installation is easy, but be advised that you will need to have plastic toggle drywall anchors on hand for the lower attachment points. Unless you have a flat facing structural wood support facing the drywall, the lower attachment point holes are wider than the standard 2X4 in most homes. But, using the included screws in the top two holes and the separate dry wall anchors in the bottom, this makes a very solid storage cradle.

Comments about West Marine SOFGRIP Kayak Wall Cradle Set:

Works as expected. Not a perfect fit in the stern, but the kayak sits nice and secure. The mounting holes are a combination of centered holes and two holes not centered. When mounting through the drywall on a stud, the two not centered holes were outside of the stud, so i had to drill two new holes in the mounting plate and also angle the screws towards the center. Other than that, no problems, and the cradles sits nice and firm on the wall.
