Instructions indicate that you insert the trailer wires into the back of the lights through the holes, like many other submersible type lights have. No holes were there and the pig tails provided on the lights did not work. There are also holes in the bottom of the lights which let water rush in, so, not at all submersible. I'm going to try and get a refund for these lights. Stay away from this product!

Comments about Submersible Incandescent Trailer Lights:

I instalked these a year ago and noticed that brakes and signals were gone this season. Took a peak and bulbs were blown due to their contact with the water...GEEZ! Both sides as I know now have openings where the wires come out....

Comments about Submersible Incandescent Trailer Lights:

no attempt made to make side lights waterproof. Extremely cheap material. Instructions worthless. The harness to vehicle does not fit without cutting plastic away from connectors. I would rather slam my thumb in car door than purchase this again.

Comments about Submersible Incandescent Trailer Lights:

I installed these on a trailer for my 14' power cat. After launching and retrieiving the boat twice the right light stopped working. I removed the faceplate to replace the bulb and found out that it is a whole unit that you have to replace, you can't just replace the bulb. What a waste of product, and not durable.

Comments about Submersible Incandescent Trailer Lights:

I was disappointed with the flimsiness of the lights. In addition, the brake and blinker indicators on one of my lights didn't work as the electrical connections were poorly constructed. I was forced to jury rig it to make it work. Lastly, the installation instructions are rather vague.
