This is the second unit purchased from WM, the first I one blew up when turning a sharp corner. While waiting for replacement, took boat to the lake 3 times, light still worked without red lens, so I used only in daylight.Good product, and fit my trailer exactly.

These lights worked for one month and then one of them filled up with water and that was it. The other side still looked good, so I bought another kit so I didnt have to rewire the whole trailer again. Got the 3 year extended warranty this time so now, no matter what, they will last 3 years as far as water damage goes. Im taking the kit back with the bad light in it now to get a refund. Not returning the extended warranty ones though..lol The guys said these lights usually work great, I just got a bad one.

I would reccomend the LED oval lights that have a rubber gromet to hold them in, but like most trailers you want to replace them with the same type/style of lights. I have the LED ovals on another boat and haven't had a problem for a long time now. Be sure to use liquid electrical tape on all your connections. Its well worth it and will save you from re-wireing the connections sooner than later.
