This PTFE-based additive prolongs the life of shaft packing, which allows water to be sealed out more completely. Reduces heat and friction, and works better and lasts longer than competitive products.

Comments about Western Pacific Trading Syntef Stuffing Box Lube:
I use this to lubricate the packing in my stuffing box. Clean the prop shaft with some fine wet and dry sandpaper. Brush off the stuffing box. Loosen the gland nut, pull it forward (don't panic you'll get some water), and smear the grease over the shaft and work some more grease into the packing material. I've been using this stuff for three years since I rebuilt the stuffing box. It doesn't leak, it doesn't overheat, and the prop shaft turns freely.
