Water lovers throughout the area are invited to join West Marine in raising money for local nautical non-profits at Cruising for a Cause, hosted by Chicago Bears punter, Pat O'Donnell, from 6 pm—8 pm on Thursday, April 23.
The evening will include appetizers and beverages from local favorite Goose Island Brewery and the engaging sounds of jazz from Chicago-based pianist/composer Jo Ann Daugherty.
We'll have incredible live auction items including a stand-up paddleboard package from Jimmy Styks, GoPro action camera and more! All proceeds go to local non-profits.

Ever dream of sailing away? Well, that's just what author Sally-Christine Rodgers and her husband, West Marine Founder, Randy Repass did. Hear about their voyage to the South Seas aboard their Wylie 65 cat ketch Convergence. Randy will address the technical aspects of gearing up and setting sail, while Sally-Christine describes some of the educational and emotional challenges a family faces on a long distance cruise!
Gary Sibilsky is a knowledgeable retail professional. He has worked at the store, district and regional level for a number of retailers. Gary enjoys any activity that is on the water, including boating, waterskiing, and fishing. He especially enjoys sharing these activities with his three children, who range in ages from 16 to 26. New to West Marine, Gary looks forward to sharing his passion for the water with his customers at the beautiful new Chicago Flagship Store.
