FULTON
XLT Series Winches

Rugged and reliable, the XLT Series Winches are of better quality than the more basic manual winches (at left). The XLTs include attractive and protective stylized polypropylene shells, 20'L straps and hooks as standard features. These winches have efficient gear ratios, full-length drum bearings, oil-impregnated shaft bushings and Fulton's patented "Comfort Grip" handle for ease of cranking. All gears are high-carbon steel for superb strength and long-term durability. Stamped carbon steel frames provide rigidity for gear alignment and longer cycle life. Zinc finishes provide excellent corrosion resistance in all environments. Designed for use with rope or strap.

  • Two-way ratchets and 8" comfort grip handles provide plenty of mechanical advantage for launching and retrieving your boat
  • Feature sleek, black polypropylene shells, high-carbon steel gears and heavy-duty reinforced frames
  • 20' strap with hook is included

    Comments about XLT Series Winches:

This is a high quality winch, using much higher quality components than the original winch that came with my trailer. I'm convinced it will hold up much better and operate much easier over the years. It was a little longer than my previous winch, so I used some washers to elevate it on the mounting bracket so that it would fit within the "V" shaped area where it mounts. It was an easy install, and works fine. I'm happy.

Comments about Fulton XLT Series Winches:

After 1 year of loading a 500 lb boat on to my boat davit system the handle failed as the metal used is too soft where it mounts onto the shaft. The flat spot rounded out so the handle spins around the shaft without griping the shaft.
