    Comments about Inflatable Boat Sealant:

I did not want to buy another dingy, so this was the only way to extend it's life. Worked great and was not hard to use. Just took about 3 hours of flipping.

    Comments about Inflatable Boat Sealant:

We were trying to bring new life to an lid hypalon that has pin holes at bumper seam. However after following directions to a tee, over a 5 hours attempt of turning the boat every 30 minutes and coating the interior of the Avon Redcrest, it still leaks, though it's better.

Worked well, I followed the directions carefully.
20 year old inflatable no obvious leaks , slowly lost its firmness. After application remained firm even after use.

This is the second boat I have used this product on with excellent results. This product was easy to use and restored both boats as advertised. Results on the first boat lasted years. The second boat has been going strong for weeks now.

Make sure you completely read and follow the instructions, being especially careful about clean-up during and after the application. Allow yourself a good four (4) hours to perform the required tumbling making sure to eliminate any pooling of the product. If done as instructed, your leaks will be sealed ... Mine were !

                Comments about Inflatable Boat Sealant:

My inflatable needed to be topped up with air every morning to retain firmness. I followed instructions, being careful to insure there was no water in the tubes. This product appears to be water soluble prior to setting up. I was unable to get the valves out, so I attached a small vinyl tube to the bottle and pushed it into the tubes past the valve. I was concerned about sealing the valve shut, but this did not happen. Per instructions I rotated the boat every 30 minutes for 4 hours. After 2 days, I fully inflated the boat and no more leaks. This stuff works.

It took two applications before my 11' Achillies was sealed, but the boat has now stayed firm for several months. Viagra for an older boat.
Even without the wooden keel installed, spinning an 11' inflatable to coat the chamber inner surfaces is a two person job.

                        Comments about Inflatable Boat Sealant:

Let me start by saying I was very skeptical of spending this much $ on a small bottle of liquid "miracle'' cure but after a few weeks of trying to run down some small pinhole and seam leaks in my old inflatable I was ready to re-christen it "Patches".

FInally gave in and bought a bottle. Followed the directions and the inflatable has remained drum tight for the last few days, something that was impossible to do prior to the application. Time will tell, but so far so good. I used about 2/3 of the bottle on 2 chambers of a 9' Mercury inflatable so I still have some left for another application or if the 3rd chamber should start to leak.

Short money for the aggravation it's saved, I would have given it 5 stars but still think the price is a bit steep!

                          Comments about Inflatable Boat Sealant:

I was having issues with the high pressure foil tubes on inflatable going flat after a few days. They are covered in protective PVC so I could not access them to look for leaks with the traditional soapy water technique. After replacing the valves with no luck I decided to try this sealant as a last resort. Poured the sealant through the valve in the open position, added a bit of air to each tube, and rolled the boat every half hour for 4 hours. 2 days later and both tubes are holding air as they should! This sealant is a lifesaver!

My aging inflatable dingy was slowly losing air through no obvious leaks. I read some encouraging reviews about West Marine Inflatable Sealant. Tried it. It worked. My aging inflatable has a new lease on life.
