Bought these gloves for a month of day trips to the Farallon Islands on a 65 ft. sailboat. They work fantastically well for every purpose: they kept my hands extremely warm in all sorts of weather, and provided exactly what I was expecting from a performance standpoint. However, West Marine should stop saying that they keep your hands warm even when wet because that is absolutely not the case. The backs of the gloves are made out of material similar to a wet suit, but the palms and front of the fingers are just plain old abrasion resistant fabric. As soon as you handle a few wet lines (simply due to the foggy moisture in the air) in order to get the boat off the dock they become damp/wet and just like that...any insulating possibilities are gone. I had to swap them out for my three quarter length gloves for the duration of the trip while these dried as they hung in the engine room. Learned my lesson to put these on after getting underway, but if the purpose of a three season sailing glove is to stay warm when wet...these gloves fall far short of the mark.

I like these gloves because I like to have my fingertips covered and protected.
However, the fingertips of the gloves wore down quickly, they should be reinforced. Maybe they used a more delicate fabric to give you some feeling in the fingertips but I still didn´t get that, just holes.
Also, the gloves are big for their size and my pair had a seem on the inside that was actually hurting me.

      Comments about Three-Season Gloves:

I purchased these gloves for my wife to use while kayaking. She gets blisters really easy and will occasionally rub her hand on the kayak scraping it. She loves these gloves! After she used them she asked where she can store them to make sure they are safe for the next time.

      Comments about Three-Season Gloves:

I purchased these gloves in store on sale. They are supposed to be a "3 Season" glove but that is terribly misleading. The first time I used them was on a rainy but not overly cold day ( 48 F). The first thing that I realized is that these are in no way water resistant. Doing line handling and in no time my hands and these gloves were soaked through. The tag on the gloves even says "keeps hands warm when wet" and I can tell you from experience this is utterly untrue. My hand were cold in no time and the gloves were so wet you could ring the water from them. I am sure they would be fine if you are not planning on getting your hands wet. I would call them dry season gloves. Seriously disappointed.

        Comments about Three-Season Gloves:

This was a gift for my dad, as it has been an unusually cold winter in NW Florida. He loves them and says they fit great. Although they are supposed to be all weather gloves, he says that in warmer weather he might not need them as much. He really likes them overall though.

I thought the gloves would keep my fingers dry. They did not so my fault not reading the fine print more closely. As advertised the gloves did not keep my wet fingers warm at all so that is my complaint.

            Comments about Three-Season Gloves:

Nice gloves, fit and work well. Good price. However, as with all neoprene gloves, the warmth factor is limited. They are waterproof, but will soon take the temperature of the outside air. When you sweat, your hands will feel damp inside. But keeping hands dry from outside water is most important and I would recommend these except for cold temps.
