Comments about Interstrip 299E Fiberglass Paint Stripper:

I needed to remove Interlux CSC anti-fouling paint from the bottom of my cruiser. I expected that the Interlux stripper would work well. I followed the instructions exactly as noted on the can. I was extremely disappointed as I found the process it time consuming and ineffective. Also the stripper removed some of the epoxy primer below the CSC, although I was assured by interlux beforehand that it would not. After removing the paint from an eighteen square foot area, I chose not to continue with this product but decided to sand the hull instead. I suggest boaters use another stripper or sand it as I did.

Comments about Interstrip 299E Fiberglass Paint Stripper:

Used this to strip several layers of bottom paint from my hull that had been there for several years. Works well but can be expensive for large projects like mine 25 fter

Comments about Interstrip 299E Fiberglass Paint Stripper:

Needed to remove old bottom paint. Reading through the Interlux literature it mentions 299E several times, so I tried it. It would have taken gallons and many hours to strip my 33' sailboat. Had the boatyard soda blast. It was well worth the cost.
