Product Description

Lewmar’s award-winning rope clutches give you a controlled release under load. A longer holding pattern reduces line wear, yet you get full holding power on any type of line. For day racers and cruisers up to 32', the D1 series offers all the features of the larger D2 series, with a rounder profile. The handle has a solid link to the clutch mechanism, the action is friction-controlled, and bright clear decals (included) identify line functions. Clutches have doubling plates under the fastenings and a spring at the base that’s clear of the deck fastenings for easy installation.

Comments about Lewmar D1 Rope Clutch, Single, 1/4- 5/16 Line Dia.:

I used these to secure my main sail and jib halyards on a Potter 19. They hold very tight, and release quick, just what I needed, and nicely priced.
