Comments about Locking Caps for Deck Fills:

The #0 was too small, #1 is too big, oddly #2 falls in between those two and fits just right on my proKat.

This product is a must for boaters these days. It was installed in a matter of minutes and is easy to use. Spin the cap in place, then turn the key which disengages the threads from the interior of the cap. The cap spins freely until the key is turned back. Works great.

Comments about Locking Caps for Deck Fills:

I would recommend designing a lock that will grab every time when you use the key to unlock the cap. After a while, it becomes a real project to get it to catch in order to loosen the cap. It often slips & one of these times I fear it just won't grab at all and I'll have to figure out how to get the gas cap off?unthreaded to put gas in the boat. Maybe I just need it replaced if you'll exchange it for another one or maybe the product needs to be improved to the point that once the key is turned, the lock grabs & doesn't just slip and spin...no matter how tight it's put on. Charge a few bucks more but get the quality there... it's not a value at this point.
