Comments about Signature Series Blade Edition Anchors:

Overall, this is a solid product. Purchased the Blade 10 footer in white.

Installed on transom. Installation is not easy. Took about 3 hours. The pole is awkward to hold in place for marking holes. No template included. Also, three of the four edges of the base bracket are not level friendly, for a lack of a better way to say it. Overall, its kind of a PITA to mount the pole on the transom. Mounting on brackets looks way easier, plus offer some adjustability. No real adjustability for transom mount unless you oversize the holes. Just something to keep in mind. Working with the hoses is less than ideal. Also, they only barely reached to the console, which is where I mounted the HPU. Im talking 6 inches to spare. As for the HPU, you only have limited ways to mount it. Its not quite universal. I was able to make it work for me, though.

The pole itself if easy to use, seems durable, and holds well. Mine is good to about 9 feet of water in a light chop/wind. Heavier chop/winds, its more like 7 feet of water. For this reason, I would only recommend the 10 footer. The 8 footer will likely only be good in 2 foot less respectively. The speed adjustment is ok, but I don't see much point to slower deployment speeds. The HPU does make a fair amount of noise, but probably not enough to scare fish away.

Remotes/programming. The remotes seem cheap, especially the console remote. When you push any button, the other buttons also sort of depress with it. They don't also activate, but Im just pointing out that they move a lot. Just doesn't scream quality. The handheld remote is also cheap, but actually feels better. For auto up/down, you must click twice. It takes a while get the timing down. Too fast or too slow and it wont auto. Kind of annoying. The included lanyard is actually high quality, go figure. The remotes are cheap, but the lanyard is great.

Overall, I would recommend. One is ok for smaller boats. Two needed for larger boats.

Easy to install. Just two wires and two hydronic lines.
Very impressed with the 10' PP Blade. Fast, strong, adjustable speed, C Monster App for I phone is great! Had a old 6' model, no comparison.
