      Comments about Skipper Deck Chair:

This is a great chair. Extremely durable. I bought 2 of them 2 years ago and they still look new. Very sturdy. I use them all year long. Either on my boat or on my deck at home. Just bought 2 more a couple of weeks ago. I am going to buy 4 more to keep on my deck at home. Makes excellent patio furniture. Very comfortable to sit in.

        Comments about Skipper Deck Chair:

The wooden arms are featured as "Hard Wood Arm Rest With UV Resistant Varnish". The varnish deteriorated as soon as the arms got damp and were ruined within two weeks. I had to sand them down and give them multiple coats of varnish to bring them back. Otherwise, they are okay but overpriced for what they are.

          • Sturdy frame

          Cons

          • Back cushion uncomfortabl
          • Bungee tie cords flimsy
          • Nylon mesh inferior
          • Uncomfortable

          Best Uses

            Comments about Skipper Deck Chair:

Inferior product design compared to zero gravity recliners for the price. Nylon mesh seems flimsy and the bungee tie cords were loose and poorly applied. The head/back cushion is useless, doesnt conform to any part of my neck or back. It is also very uncomfortable. Returned the product.

            Service and delivery comments:

Delivery was fine and prompt. Returned the product to WM and still have not rcd. a credit. They actually debited my account again instead. SAid there is a glitch in their new system. Waiting for the credit, 4 days now. Not happy

They seem great so far. Time will tell. I haven't been overly happy with the quality and in particular longevity of West Marine products lately.
